Mini-Ballet (Pre school from 3 years)

This class is for half an hour and introduces simple balletic movements through imaginative role play. The children learn to follow instruction and interact with each other. Music plays a big part at this stage, listening and recognising change of tempo and various dynamics. We introduce props such as ribbons flags and percussion instruments which are great fun for young children.

Pre-Primary/Primary (From 5-8 yrs average)

We follow the R.A.D. syllabus, introducing simple ballet steps and ultimately a sense of poise. This will lead to good posture in readiness for the grade work.

Grade 1 : (From 8 years upwards)

The class is now divided into three sections:- classical ballet, free movement and character. Again we follow the R.A.D. syllabus. For classical work the barre is introduced at Grade 1 level and within the three sections, every student can gain confidence and enjoy the class.
