The Academy’s aim is to provide a professional and caring environment for those who wish to pursue a career in dance or for enjoyment as an out of school/work activity.

The school was established in January 2006 and has already seen a steady growth of students.

Lessons are easily accessible with a wide choice of venues in and around Bath.

Structured classes enable progress to be monitored. Ballet is taught following The Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) syllabus. Whilst the Modern/Jazz and Tap follows The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) syllabus.

The teachers recognise that there are different levels of learning and try their best to accommodate this, always endeavouring to bring out the best in each individual whilst making it fun and boosting confidence.

Students have taken part in many activities. These include School Shows, various pantomimes, Summer schools and activities, Fetes, Choreographic competitions and graded examinations.

Although there are several examination sessions throughout the year it is you and your child’s choice whether to take part in the exam!
